Maidens Barn is licensed for civil ceremonies and we do not charge extra for this and, on a fine day, you can get married outside (there is the Registrar’s fee to pay). Our local Church is St. Mary the Virgin, High Easter. In order to secure a booking at Maidens Barn a deposit of £800 is required. The balance is to be paid not later than two weeks before your hire date.

The hire charge includes the use of all our tables and chairs, heating and lighting, cleaning, access to the fully equipped caterers’ kitchen and the fully staffed licensed bar.

We have an excellent and varied list of recommended caterers for you to choose from and as far as florists, music and so on are concerned, we can help you as much or as little as you want. Over the years we have developed contacts with a whole range of suppliers, all of whom know the Barn very well and would be happy to talk to you about your requirements. We also provide competitively priced drinks packages for your day time drinks, including the wedding breakfast. The licensed bar operates in the evening and we charge regular pub prices.

Being family run, our aim is to provide a very flexible and individual service that will ensure that your wedding day goes just the way you want it to.
